The nutrient content in Fast Food
Barebells Fast Food contains balanced amounts and carefully selected sources of protein, carbs, healthy fats, and essential vitamins and minerals. Here, we have gathered information about the nutrients included in Fast Food. For other questions, please visit our FAQ-page.
Protein
The protein source used in Barebells Fast Food is milk protein, which is a complete, easily digestible, and high-quality protein source with all essential amino acids. Protein contributes to the maintenance and increase of muscle mass and plays an important part in the renewal of, for example, hair and skin cells. Protein also contributes to the feeling of satiety. Barebells Fast Food contains 34 grams of protein per serving.
Carbs
Carbs are the primary source of energy for the brain and muscles. Carbs contribute to, for example, recovery after intense training and normal brain function. The carbs in Barebells Fast Food come from gluten-free oats. Oats are a slow and nutrient-dense carb source, which is rich in fiber and that contains a low amount of naturally occurring sugars.
Fiber
A bottle of Barebells Fast Food contains 6,5 grams of fiber. Fiber is important for digestion and contributes to the feeling of satiety. Foods that are rich in fiber are known to help lower blood lipid levels and by extension make a positive impact on cardiovascular health. Fiber is commonly consumed to help with digestive issues. To avoid consuming too little fiber, many people benefit from increasing their daily fiber intake.
Fats
Fat is an essential nutrient source with a variety of bodily functions, such as repairing and constructing cells, producing hormones, and contributing to the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins (such as A, D, E, and K). Barebells Fast Food mainly contains fat from the vegetable fat source rape seed oil, which mainly consists of unsaturated and polyunsaturated fats. In general, it is considered better to increase the share of these types of fats in the daily fat intake.
Salt
Salt contains sodium which in the right amount contributes to vital functions, such as contracting muscles, conducting nerve impulses, and maintaining fluid balance. Salt also contains iodine which contributes to normal metabolism. However, too much salt increases the risk of negative health implications, such as increased blood pressure. The Swedish National Food Safety Authority (Livsmedelsverket) recommends having a maximum of six grams of salt per day. Fast Food contains a total of 1 gram of salt, which we hope will make it easy to keep the daily intake at a good amount.
Vitamins and minerals
Vitamins and minerals are essential, which means that the body needs them to function optimally. Humans can’t produce these micronutrients and need to get them through food. We have included the 26 essential vitamins and minerals in Barebells Fast Food, to make it possible to fulfill the micronutrient needs if choosing to consume Fast Food as a meal.

We always recommend a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. If you want to learn more about the nutrients in Fast Food, you can read more about each topic (in Swedish) at the Swedish Food Agency’s webpage via the links below.
